Play Divx/Xvid on PS2
Many of us face the trouble on having many of Divx/Xivd movies on there PCs, such as anime. But have no real way to play them apart from on their PCs.
People do not want to fork out £'s to buy a whole new DVD player capable on Div/Xvid. So follow this tutorial and play them anywhere on DVD/CD with your PS2.
Gather all needed software
CD/DVD burning software
- Start-up CDGenPS2
- Extract RAR
- Drag SYSTEM.CNF from \mediaplayer\ps2 to the left pane in CDGenPS2 under CDGenPS2
Click for HiRes
4. Click Edit
5. Tick boxed marked Fix LBA and set to 12231
Click for HiRes
6. Drag and drop MCLOADER.ELF under it.
7. Continue dragging and dropping until you have the following structure.

8. Drag movie files across under IDIOMA.TXT
Click for HiRes
9. Click the button on the left titled IMG and save in a .BIN format.
10. You can also click the button on the left titled VOL to change the disc Volume Label.
11. Burn using preferred software (Nero, CDRWin)
